GENERAL
INFORMATION
How
do buyers/sellers benefit from using efoodcommerce.com?
By
giving thousands of buyers immediate access to thousands of sellers,
the purchasing process is not only accelerated, but more efficient
as well. In short, we offer the buyer greater selection and the
seller expanded sales capabilities-radically reducing the amount
of time, money, and resources involved in either trying to make
a purchase or trying to market products to potential customers.
The efoodcommerce.com business-to-business marketplace is designed
to make the purchasing process quicker and more efficient. By giving
thousands of buyers immediate access to thousands of sellers, purchasing
decisions that once would have taken days, weeks, or even months,
now only take a click of the mouse.
How
is a transaction initiated?
The
buyer starts the ball rolling by filling out a Quote Request online.
After registering and logging on the site buyer selects a category
for which he needs a quote (Like for Mushrooms buyer will start
by clicking on Main category of Vegetables) This form takes the
buyer through a series of carefully researched questions to accurately
determine their needs. Once completed, the form is submitted by
the buyer and efoodcommerce sends it out to sellers that offer the
products requested.
How
does a seller respond to a buyer's Quote Request?
After
receiving a Quote Request form a buyer, sellers will respond by
filling out a Quote submission form (found on the seller's account
page) and clicking the 'Submit' button. Because there are a limited
number of Quote slots available, sellers should always respond to
a Quote Request as quickly as possible. efoodcommerce.com collects
a nominal fee for each Quote submitted.
Will
buyers be able to view their Quotes objectively?
Yes.
Using efoodcommerce.com's Quote Comparison Chart, buyers will be
able to view all Quotes in an objective and convenient side-by-side
format.
How
do buyers and sellers complete their transactions?
Once
a buyer requests contact (and has given permission for his/her contact
information to be released), the seller is notified via telephone
or e-mail and both parties close the deal off-line.

PRICING
How
are Sellers charged for the service?
efoodcommerce.com
charges a combination of quote and commission fees, though Sellers
can receive, review, and monitor Quote Requests at no charge. A
small fee of $5.00 is charged for each Quote submitted, while commission
is paid only after the transaction is completed. Commission is 1.5%
of the value of Transaction.
Why
are Sellers charged a fee to submit a Quote?
efoodcommerce.com
is an online marketplace providing Sellers with a low-cost opportunity
to grow their business and access qualified sales leads. Sellers
are charged a small quote fee to maintain the integrity of each
quote and confirm the seriousness of the Seller. And it's always
free to receive and review Quote Requests.
What
happens after a Seller submits a Quote?
After
a Seller submits a Quote, it is sent directly to an interested Buyer.
One or more of the following Buyer actions will then be reflected
in the Seller's Account Summary box: · Buyer has read Quote · Buyer
has requested contact from you · Buyer has requested contact from
another company · Buyer has deleted Quote
How
does a Seller pay for quote fees?
We've
made it easy:
1)
The first time a Seller submits a Quote, they'll fill out a billing
authorization.
2)
efoodcommerce.com will store this information so that every subsequent
time the Seller submits a Quote, they only need to key in a 4-digit
password and hit the 'Submit' button.
3)
We will bill the Seller at the end of each month for the Quotes
they've submitted.
How
much will a Seller be charged to place a quote?
In
most categories, Sellers are charged a nominal fee of $5.00 to place
a Quote. The quote fee is displayed on the Selling Activity page
for each category.
How
does a Seller know if they are receiving legitimate Quote Requests?
We
review all submitted Quote Requests. If we determine that one does
not represent a serious request, we will promptly delete it from
our system. If quotes have already been submitted, those too will
be deleted from the system, and Sellers will not be charged.
Is
there an additional fee if the Buyer wishes to contact the Seller?
No.
There is no fee assessed when a Seller and a Buyer make contact.
When
is a commission fee charged?
In
all categories, a commission fee is charged when a Buyer and Seller
close a transaction. Commission fee details are displayed on the
Selling Activity page for each category.
How
much is the commission fee?
Commission
fees has been set at a very nominal rate of 1.5% for all categories
except Surplus Food where commission charged shall be 3%. Again,
commission fee details are displayed on the Selling Activity page
for each category.
How
are Sellers charged a commission fee for closed transactions?
It
is the Seller's responsibility to notify efoodcommerce.com of a
closed transaction. For more details, see our Pricing Policy. Incentives
will be offered to the Buyer to encourage them to notify us of all
closed transactions.
Why
are Sellers charged a commission?
Commission
fees enable us to keep our quote fees low while continuing to provide
Buyers and Sellers our valuable service. Many Sellers prefer commission
fees, as they are only required to pay a "win" fee when they enter
into business with the Buyer.
Are
there any other fees?
No.
There are no other fees besides quote and commission fees. All fee
details for each category are provided to the Seller before they
submit a Quote.
What
if a seller has questions about their bill?
Sellers
may contact us via e-mail at billing@efoodcommerce.com with any
questions or problems arising from their bill.
Is
there a refund policy for Sellers?
efoodcommerce.com
doesn't offer refunds for either Quote submissions or commission
fees. At efoodcommerce.com, Sellers pay a nominal quote fee for
the opportunity to land valuable new customers at a significantly
lower cost than they would by using traditional methods such as
telemarketing or advertising in the yellow pages. Commission fees
are only collected after a Buyer and Seller close a transaction.

Will
Buyers/sellers be inundated with "spam" e-mail when they register?

efoodcommerce.com has a strong privacy policy in place that has

Request?
